a quick study on a wood panel. If you are a cheap artist(meaning, student....and maybe me) I recommend getting a big piece of wood at home depot and cut it up at a wood shop yourself. I had a ton of canvas to work on that way. Even had extra canvas to donate to my even cheaper friends (meaning Chris and Heahter )
